Does every negative experience contain a lesson?

All great spirituality is about letting go. There is no renewal in all of nature without a preceding loss. No great lasting gain in history has come without suffering and sacrifice. Prodigal sons and daughters have to leave, lose and return to learn. I find in my life, where I stumble is where my treasure is found, my wounds become my blessings. As Leonard Cohen wrote, There's a crack in everything, that's how the light gets in."
